Here are some answers to frequently asked questions:

• Blank thermostat? Check your float switch and reset the breakers to both pieces of equipment
• How often should I change my filter? Check every 30 days and change as needed but do NOT exceed 90 days.
• Should my air conditioner have ice on it? NO. Turn the system off and give us a call.
• House not cooling to the set temperature? Check your filter if all looks good give us a call.
• Should I clean my own coil? Not recommended, let the pros handle that.
• Should I use bleach or vinegar to clean my drain line? Bleach: NO! It’s too corrosive. Vinegar: you can but follow it up with warm water to rinse it out.
• How often should I have my AC unit serviced? You should perform at least 1 maintenance per year, but we recommend twice a year. Spring and fall.
• Can you install your own thermostat? Yes. But give us a call when you’re done to check your work. This is a service we provide.
• How long does an AC unit last? In Florida, 10-12 years by EPA guidelines.
• How long does it take to install an Air conditioning unit? A typical install will last 1 day. 6-8 hours.
